God's creation is truly beautiful; all of nature, all animals, all humans- e~v~e~r~y~t~h~i~n~g is beautiful; you are beautiful, I am beautiful, she is beautiful, he is beautiful.

As my time in Milwaukee quickly approaches, I have found that I want to fit every possible activity I can into my last 9 days at home. I want to visit the lakefront, go kayaking, go to mass with all the priests I know, hang out with college and high school friends, read books, visit the Marian shrine in Champion, go urban farming, volunteer at a food pantry; the list could go on. I am starting to realize all of the opportunities that Milwaukee gives me to do the things I love. (As well, I am beginning to see how under rated Milwaukee is as a city and how much I am going to miss its atmosphere.)
Last night, I had a spontaneous visit to the lakefront with my sister and my mom. We planned on going for a walk, but instead ended up hanging out on the rocks taking pictures of the beauty of the water, as well as some needed selfless together. During this moment, it really began to sink in that I wont be able to see them whenever I want to, since I will be NINE hours away. I am beginning to cherish all of our moments together, whether they were planned or spontaneous like this one. It just goes to show me how complex and beautiful this life is and I feel so blessed with all the relationships, memories and opportunities I have.
